How to Re-enable AD GUID for accounts in PWA?

We have Mixed mode authentication enabled in PWA. We are using Windows
authentication (mostly) by synchronizing users with AD groups.

Q1. Is there a way that we can re-enable AD GUID for accounts for which it
was cleared using 'Clear User AD GUID' option?

Q2. 'Clear User AD GUID' option for few users is greyed out. How can we
enable that option?

Re-synchronize the AD Group with the Project Server Group that the user
accounts belonged to.

Q2. 'Clear User AD GUID' option for few users is greyed out. How can we
enable that option?

The Clear User AD GUID option is only available when the user account
was synchronized with an AD Group. Were these users created manually?
