How to recover published pages from web?

R

Richard Lewis

Hi all!

I seem to have "lost" the css/linkbars/selected theme from the web pages
I've got stored locally. The version I've posted to the web is okay though -
is there a way I can retrieve these files so they will be displayed
correctly when stored locally?

I'm using FrontPage 2002 with Windows XP.

Many thanks

Rich

Yes, as long as the remote server has the FP extensions, then you could open
the site on the server in FP via File Menu | Open Web and then do File Menu
| Publish Web back to your machine.

If the remote server doesn't have the extensions, then the configuration
info is not available, and you will have to redo it.

The server I've posted to doesn't support FP extensions :(

Is there an easy way to re-instate the CSS to the HTML files that I have
stored locally? I'm not sure why my link bars have disappeared!

TIA

You have to re-apply it in the same manner that you used the first time.
