How to Redirect in FP

Cany anyone tell me how to set up my site so that the
initial page redirects the viewer (in a few seconds) to
the home page. I have tried without success using http-
equiv="refresh" content=3;etc.?

in your header

Thanks! I had the verbage correct but it was not working
correctly within Front Page as I had been too afraid/wimpy
to re-upload the entire web with all the link changes
inherent to changing the initial greeting page with an
immediate redirect to the original home page. Given your
response I took the plunge and now everything works
perfectly. Thanks again
