How to reduce the number of 'clicks' when saving

How can I control the number of clicks to one when saving changes in an
Excel spread sheet? I use lots of small sheets which I edit and save
and every time I click the save button I get three or more "are you
sure" questions all of which I want to answer yes.

Finger fatigue!!

If you save a workbook over an existing workbook using a tool button, you'll
always get an "are you sure" warning. The only way to save a previously
saved workbook over itself without a warning is to use Ctrl-s or File, Save.

Crtl + S = File Save (also Alt + F, S)
Alt + F, A = Save as

Jim, Thank you for responding. When clicking "Clt S" or the "X" to
close the workbook, I still get three confirm messages. No way around
this huh?

Are you saving as a normal excel file or some other format?

You may want to post the text of the prompts to get more help, too.
