How to refresh unread mail in Searched Folder

I have a Search folder setup of my unread mail. I then
read my messages sent directly to me and the message shows
as read. The # of unread messages changes correctly but
the read mail stays in the search folder for unread mail.
How do I update the searc folder to remove the mail I've
read?

Switch to another folder and back again. F5 also does the trick for you.
