how to remove duplicate appointments

I recently upgraded from Outlook2000 to Outlook2002.

When re-sync'ing for the first time, most of the Appointments are
duplicated. How can I delete the duplicates? thanks

I'm not sure how you ended up with duplicates when you just upgraded Outlook
from 2000 to 2002...sounds odd; unless you're talking about syncing a
handheld to Outlook. This is a function of your handheld sync software....

Anyway, there are several duplicate
checkers/eliminators - search at www.slipstick.com and also see
www.sperrysoftware.com

Lanwench, you are correct. I was referring to syncing my Ipaq
handheld to it after the upgrade. It must have click the Combined option by
mistake.
Thanks for your help. Not sure if there freeware though. Cheers
