How to remove "markup" elements when a doc is printed by others?

S

Stephen

I created a form to ship out to my customers to complete and return to me.
Upon sending it, I receive comments back from some or most of the customers,
that when they complete the form and print it, they can see the mark up
elements. When I test it in my own company with colleagues, we see no mark
up elements.

Unprotect the form.

Get the reviewing toolbar up and click on accept all changes. Turn off track
changes. Reprotect your form and save it.

Otherwise, what they may be seeing is the normal formatting marks like
paragraph marks, tabs, which may be showing if non-printing characters are
turned on. http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NonPrintChars.htm
If so, though, I would expect that they would be showing up in their other
documents.
