How to remove the date from borders

In Visio 2003 - Some of the borders, such as Retro, automatically place a
date on the drawing, is it possible to turn this feature off?

If you select the shape and then use "Open Border Retro" you can select the
page number. I'm not sure how the item is protected, but you could change
the text colour to white to hide the page number.

To actually delete the page number, select the border and open the
shapesheet to change the lockgroup flag in the Protection section. You can
then Open the group and select the page number. Change the protection so
that the item is not protected from deletion (you should be able to do this
from the Format menu rather than through the shapesheet)

.... and alternatively, you could select the page number and use the text
tool to remove or change the text.
