How to Repeat Last Action

I'm trying to see if therere are keyboard shortcuts to repeat your
last action. Supposed I shaded a sentence in grey. How do I repeat
that action with a keyboard shortcut, not by gonig to Edit and
clicking repeat.

The whole point is to save some time here.

You should see the keyboard shortcut when you go to Edit | Repeat....

That doesn't exactly do it. When I shade a sentence, control y isn't
gonna repeat it; it will repeat an underline, which is somethnig that
wasn't done previously. The point is whether Word has a function that
will repeat exactly what you did in formatting: not some standard,
simplified functions like underlining, emboldening or deleting.
