You can't do this within Entourage. Resize outside of Entourage then add
the image.

In Entourage 2008, select the new Toolbox and click on the right icon,
Object Palette. Select the camera tab. This puts you into iPhoto. It
does not give any options to reduce photos. As a comparison, email from
iPhoto on medium produced an attachment of 56.98 KB. The same photo
dragged in from the Object Palette was 1.13 MB.

Other options:

Automator Workflow:

There are several third party applications that allow you to resize.

iResize (freeware) <http://www.marcorotatori.com/index.php?p=iResizer>

EasyCrop $11.95 <http://www.yellowmug.com/easycrop/>

PhotoCropper $12.95 <http://www.sjake.com/products/photocropper/>

PhotoExpress 2 €5

Graphic Converter $19.95 It's much more than a photo reducer.

resize photos. You'll find several others.
