How to restore a "Review My Timesheet" Webpart?

K

Kani

Hello,

In PWA (2007), I went to Quick lauch, Approvals->Timesheets->opened a
timesheet and it is missing Review My Timesheet view. I am sure by mistake I
closed a WebPart. Can anyone guide me how do I restore it.

I get an Error page with following msg.
========================================
The timesheet requested was unable to be returned by the system. Ensure that
the timesheet exists and that you have sufficient permissions before trying
again.

Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to
temporarily close Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more
information, contact your site administrator.

Thanks a lot, in advance.

Kan:

If you accidentally closed a web part, you can simply navigate to the page
in question, put the page into edit mode, click add a web part on the page,
then browse the web part gallery until you find the web part and add it back
to the page.

Thank you Gary for your quick response.

But, I don't see Site Action at all now.
Here is what I did. PWA->Approval-->Timesheet->Opened an approved Timesheet
and it showed Review Timesheet Details. Here the Site Setting menu was
available at the time I closed the webpart. But now, when I opened an
approved Timesheet it shows an error page. The Site Setting is not available.

Let me know.

I don't have an easy answer for you as you're getting bumped to the error
page rather than the system showing an error on the page. I suggest that you
open a ticket with Microsoft on this one. I assume that there's probably a
way to fix this in the database, but this solution, if it's possible, is
very obscure.
