how to restore blue arrow going into envelope (incoming mail)

I used to see a blue arrow going into or coming out of an envelope symbol at
bottom right of screen (incoming/outgoing messages). This has now disappeared
but I would like to restore it as I found it useful to gauge the sizes of
incoming files. Any ideas? Thanks!

Version of outlook? Have you looked at Tools, Send and Receive settings for
the Show progress dialog command?
