How to restore MIX photos to jpg?

Without my knowledge or imput a large number of my photos have been converted
to MIX files, which I am unable to open. How can I change these back to jpg?

..MIX files used to be the default setting for Picture It! files. Open them
in Picture It! and save them as .jpg files.
