How to rid of Error 0x800ccc0f when trying to send outlook 2007

How do you get rid of Error message 0x800cccOf when trying to send from
Outlook 2007...I have all the correct pop3 info and smtp info and I have an
internet connection...This is starting to tick me off.

These errors are often caused by your virus scanner. If it integrates with
Outlook, disable/uninstall this integration and try again.

I disable the virus scanner (Webroot Spysweeper) and it still doesn't
work...I have disabled all possible firewalls...I have redone email
completely...it receives emails fine but everytime i send I get error
0x800ccc0f.

Outlook has never worked...I kind od assumed that microsoft would have
better support...they tried to charge me $50 to on their support site...that
seems crazy to me...their software doesn't work and apparently this is a
massive problem.

This can happen. The workaround for this is to uninstall your AV and then re-install
without the email integration (scanning)
