There's not a whole lot of difference between the two. I'm curious why you'd
want to.

hello Joann,
We are getting problem in adding contacts DL in outlook.
IN XP we suppose to delete the contacts from address book after adding them
to DL but in 2003 if we delete them from adress book then contacts from DL
are also getting deleted.
So please let us know the proper procedure to roll back to XP. We dont want
to keep reconfiguring our outlook settings, we have 4 profiles with different
user names, passwords, servers names, by reinstalling office XP.

Perhaps if the meaning of the question is different from what the question
said, you should not bother asking until you can learn how to communicate.

We know very well what and how to communicate and if you dont know the
meaning of roll back then shut off your forum its of no use but waste of time.

You are not suppose to teach communication to customers but provide solution
and if you keep teaching communcation to customers then i must say its not
very far what there will question raised on your bread and butter because we
are customers and we are paying you.

Thank you Gordan for providing appropriate answer.
Better you teach your Colleagues how to solve the problem instead dragging
it to controversies. we are prurchasing the product due to which this forum
and they exist they should not forget this.

You obviously can't read. Milly gave you the ONLY method to "roll back" as
you quaintly put it, from Office 2003 to Office XP. As have I, in reply to
another of your posts.

B

First, you make it obvious you don't wish to communicate in a manner to
receive assistance from the volunteers here. Secondly, I know what a
"roll back" is, there isn't one, only remove and install. Thirdly, this
isn't a "forum" nor is it mine. And finally, it's not a waste of time
for those users who can read. Seems you may want to review that link I
provided a little more closely this time.

Have a nice day!

You are paying no one - this is a public news group and the people who
provide answers here are volunteers.

And if you were paying, I would return your money and close the ticket.

So tell me, what is the difference between these two answers:

"<sigh> there IS no proper procedure to "roll back" from Office 2003 to

To which you supplied a thank you to Gordon...

and mine:

"Uninstall 2003, reboot, put in your Office XP disc and install."

Or are you just picking nits?

That still doesn't make you a communication teacher, but a volunteer.
Volunteers need humility too.

Querida Milly,

I have been working with volunteers for almost ten years now, in the
emergency medicine field. Volunteers are among the most puffed-up, smug,
egoistic, needing-constant-attention folks I have ever met. It's true in
newsgroups too.

If you want to help people just do it, don't look for thanks and ignore the
petulant self-righteous criticisms of your methods. We will all get along
better if you do so.

Saludos cordiales,

Earle

M

Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]

And I submit that the opposite is true as well - for those who feel
compelled to chide the volunteers here for not living up to their standards,
it would be a more cordial world if those comments were kept on your hard
drive.
