How to save a .mpp to .xml file

Hi,
In Project Server 2007, the .mpp files of the project are stored in
the database,I want to store the .xml file of the .mpp into my system
without saving the .mpp file to my system.Is there any way to do
this.Please help.

Hello Poorvi,

Please follow the below steps to save MPP to XML file:


Open project plan by connecting to Project Server

File menu -> Save As -> Click on "Save As File" button -> Choose the
required option and click OK on prompt for Enterprise fields -> Choose
XML Format
(*.xml) from Save As File Type dropdown -> Choose the path of your
local system -> Click on Save
