how to scan double sided documents

When I select "original is double sided" in the Office Document Scanning
Tool, the pages are not in the correct order in the resulting .tif. (side
a's of each document appear first, then all the b's). Is there any way to
put them in the correct order without having to cut and paste?

No idea how you are scanning them. Are you scanning side 1 and then side
2 of each sheet, or are you scanning all the side ones first? Check your
setup and correct.
