Confused with text format

I would like to be able to send an email that I know will look the same as
the one that I have sent...i.e. the text font & formatting will be the same.
I have made a template/signature for quotes that I send to clients, which
looks great at my end but looks strange at the receivers end. Emails
generally have font changes & tab changes at the receivers end, which tend to
look disjointed & hard to read

use plain text. :) You have little control over what others see - the best
this is to keep it simple, then there is less formatting to go wrong.

Email is difficult to control. You don't know if the recipient is using
small screen and high DPI (so fewer characters before wrapping) or if they
are using a blackberry or cell phone to read it. They might force all mail
to be plain text.

Never use tabs in email - use spaces or tables. Use simple HTML formatting.
