Is this an English version of PPT and do you have English set as the editing
language?

it's in italian

but it does not matter, I set the auto-save option

Ah. Then the control key combinations will probably be different.

well, yes, but for the rest of my windows 200 applications ctrl+s works,
not with ppt

On the right side of the menu, you'll see the control
keys for each of the commands.

yes, I know, and it says maiusc+f12, which is fine but I would have
preferred the other way ;)

There's no autosave feature in PowerPoint; there's something that SEEMS like it
might be that, but it's not.

thanks, this was an important tip, so, what does actually do that option
I have set?

OK, I understand. Well, almost. What's "maiusc"?

ops sorry ;)

"shift"

If PowerPoint crashes, it can sometimes restore your presentation to what it was
before the crash. The setting tells it how often to save information that lets it do
that.

For example, if you set it to 10 minutes, it will save after you've been working on
the presentation for 10 minutes. If PowerPoint crashes five minutes after that,
you'll only lose five minutes of work, not fifteen.
well that's what I need so I am happy ;) thanks
