How to set margins for headers in excel

I don't seem to have any control over the left and right margins for my
headers and footers in excel 2003. The left and right page margins don't seem
to adjust the header and footer margins.

You can adjust your margins in print preview.

Left and right header and footer margins do not follow the page margins and
cannot be changed outwards.

They are generally limited to about 3/4 inch from paper edge.

You can pad with spaces to bring them inwards.

With Excel, you can have any size side margins for headers that you want...
as long as you want 0.75" Hard to believe, but true, check out the
knowlegebase article:

Not what you wanted to hear, but i don't know any way around it.
