How to set up a date sensitive notification?

Say I have an excel file with a list of birthdays and dates. I would like
some kind of notification on each date that is in the file. Is this possible?

Okay. Still no clue on "notification", but you could use Conditional
Formatting. Something like if the cell value =Today()

Format-->Conditional formatting
