How to set up email merge for emails to be sent from a diff email

Hello,

I am trying to set up email merge for the emails to be sent from different
email address other than my own.

Things to consider:
-I am using outlook 2007
-from email address is not actually an email address, but a Distribution
List alias
-I do not want to install any additional softwares to achieve this

I've read that this is not really possible, but I figured someone had a
macro of some sort to make it possible.

I assume you mean from a different email account, not address. A mail merge
will use the default mail account for whichever profile you are using.
You cannot use a DL as the data source for a mail merge.
