how to set up remote access to my pc from another state

I am going out of state for a couple of weeks and want access to my pc while
I am gone. Does anyone know how to set this up?

It's not an Office issue. You need to direct your question to the newsgroup
for your applicable operating system. (But I'd try Google first - or even
the Windows Help files.)

Well, this isn't really related to Microsoft Office, which is the purpose of
this forum. I would suggest you search microsoft.com or google for "remote
access" and you will find several articles for how to do so. Or, one of the
Windows newsgroups (assuming you use Windows on your pc) might be of
assistance, such as microsoft.public.windowsxp.work_remotely
