How to share links to files between multiple computers

I am creating customer info between office and home. I want to link to thecustomers contact info as a .vcf file, but when I get home to view the customers info it points me to the file at work, ex. can not find c:\documentsand settings\username\contacts.
I've also copied the .vcf files to skydrive, but you can't link to skydrive..
