How to shrink to area around the actual paper?

When I create a new drawing then around the paper is a big, big colored area.
This area is visible when I scroll to the top or side.

How can shrink this out-of-paper-margin to lets say 1 cm ?

menu File -> Page Setup
on the Print Setup page, click the Setup button
and change the margins.

The margin visibility can be turned on/off via
menu View -> Page Breaks
