How to solve the This modification is not allowed in Word 2007

How do I solve the This Modification Is Not Allowed Because The Selection Is
Locked Problem. At first my Word prgoram was running fine, but suddenly I
could not create new documents or type anything or even do anything at all in
Microsoft Word 2007. Anyone can help me out here?

If Word 2007 came installed on a new computer it was probably a trial
version and has expired. If it is a retail version that you purchased
(separately or with the computer), then perhaps you have not activated it?
