How to specify default file to open with Word open-file icon?

Can I specific which file is the default file to open when clicking the
"open-file" icon? Thanks.

Hi Jim,

Which "Open-File" icon are you talking about? You can right-click on any
icon and select properties to change them.

Go to Tools > Options > File Locations and set the path for Documents there.
