how to specify playtime on a video in Power Point - # of min:sec

I have a video I've inserved into Power Point but don't want the last frame
to play. Outside of purchasing a video editing program can I specify I want
it to play the first 1:26 seconds and leave off the last 5--or is there a way
to stop the video at a certain time?

While what you want can be done by using timing, if your video is of the
type supported by Windows Movie Maker you have a free video editing program
on your computer already. You can also find video editing software for free
or "on the cheap" from the web. Since the video has to be linked and
included with the PPT presentation, therefore can be viewed by anyone that
has access to the computer, it is always better to include only the frames
you want viewed.
