How to split 2 pages per sheet vertically?

Mike

When selecting 2 pages per sheet, the fold is horizontal for portrait and
vertical for landscape. I cannot get the fold to be vertical for portrait.
I've tried fooling Word (changing the page size, etc.), but thus far nothing
works. ANY ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

Select "2 pages per sheet" and landscape, then change the page size to H:11"
W:8.5". This appears to work for me.

I tried that; if I can get it to stick it will not print correctly (I've
tried 3 different printers), shifting the document severely to the right.
If I adjust the the margins, it cuts off the text (even in print preview).

We're probably going to do this in Quark, but it seems like this should be
possible in Word.

In my experiment, it displays correctly in Print Layout view. In Print
Preview, two vertical slices of a portrait page are displayed, but the text
is cut off at the 8.5" mark, and when it prints, it prints on Letter
Landscape anyway (and cut off on the right side). Oh, well. Sorry.
