How to start macros in Outlook

Hi there,

As you can tell by the question I am very new to this. I am used to
creating macros in Excel, but never in Outlook. My first question is
this:

How do I get started creating a macro in outlook and how do I execute
in when I want to use the macro? I always used buttons in excel.

Outlook can use toolbar buttons to execute macros, exactly as Excel does.

Also, as you might have figured out by now, Outlook does not have a
RECORD function as Excel does. Its all by hand.
