How to start the OLE Server outside the Office Access2003?

I get the following error message while starting the Access2003 on my
WinXP-Home Laptop:
"A PROBLEM OCCURED WHILE MS OFFICE WAS COMMUNICATING WITH THE OLE SERVER
OF\R ACTIVE X CONTROL.
Close the OLE Server and restart it Outside the Microsoft Office Access.
Then try the original operation again in the Microsoft Office Access."
Can any body help me to get out of this problem? I am at a loss as to what
could be the problem? is it in the OS or in the Access2003? Please help.
