How can I stop the Windows Installer from coming up every time I try to open
a program in Office 2007 Beta2 TR?

HOw many versions of Office do you have installed on your computer?

Checked add/remove programs. All that shows up is Compatibility Pack 2 for
Office 2007.

I'd remove the Compatibility Pack. There is no need for it if you only
have Office 2007 installed.

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Change Office 2007, Repair.
Does it say anything when you see the close button at the end?

I'm having the same issue. I've uninstalled Beta2 through the control panel
as well as the Windows Install Cleanup Utility. Even browsed the registry to
manually remove any other entries related to Office. Still same result, the
installer runs anytime a Office application is launched.

Any other advice to try?
