How to Stop Reminders

We are using Outlook 2003 on an Exchange Server with the same calendar
account appearing on multiple pc's and notebooks, including that of a
secretary who actually maintains the calendars. They are all set to the
Cached Mode. The reminders pop up on every unit. We would like to stop all of
the reminders except those specifically requested. We've tried changing the
reminder defalut to "none" and just about every other place to change it but
with no success. Where are we going wrong? Thanks for your help.
