How to Tab over to a specific cell... not the adjacent one?

Hi. In an effort to make a form more user friendly, I
would like to set up a feature so that when the hit tab in
one of the input cells, it takes them to the next input
cell, instead of the adjacent cell.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi SK

Ensure all input cells are not Locked (Format > Cells menu), then protect
the worksheet (Tools > Protection menu).

Thanks Harald. That works! I hate to be too greedy but do
you think there is also a way to do the same thing in a
certain order... for eg. A1 to B6 to C8 and then to A4??

Thanks a ton for your quick response.

Hi SK,

One way is to name the range. Select the SECOND cell in your range and hold
down Ctrl and then select all the others in the order you want ending with
the FIRST. Now click in the name box and name the range, say, Data. You
can now select the name Data in the named range drop down box and enter
stuff in the active cell and hit Enter (or Tab) and move through your range
until you get back to the first cell.

If you have a ton of cells you will find a named range will only accept
about 20 to 30 cells if they are scattered. But you can use multiple named
ranges with appropriate names to indicate the data type.
