How to tell from PWA if the hours have been approved into the plan

I have access to lots of resources timesheets. I need an easy way of working
out if they have submitted time, and if this time has been been approved into
the MSP plan. How can I do this?

Also, how long does it take once the hours have been approved by the manager
for the MSP plan to update?

It would help if you let us know if you are using Project Server 2002, 2003,
or 2007.
