How to toggle between PPT presentation and Demo App?

I want to toggle between a PPT presentation and other DEMO SW. I have
my windows toolbar configured for ALWAYS HIDE & ALWAYS ON TOP. I had
hoped that by moving the cursor to the bottom of my PPT presentation
screen, the toolbar would pop up and I could switch to DEMO SW.

I find documentation to insert PPT Action Buttons to launch other
programs, but not to simply switch to an already launched program.

I find that if you set the windows taskbar to the default settings ...with "auto-hide" turned off

Then during a powerpoint slideshow, you can simply press the "windows key" (left of the spacebar) then the taskbar will
appear during a slideshow.

Did you know that you can press the Alt key, then the TAB key (that's the one next to Q) to toggle between all the
applications that are running ?
