Hi All!!
I have little hope to receive any answer soon, since we are very close to
the end of the year and maybe a lot of you are on vacations, but this is
really URGENT, so if anyone can help and is willing to spend a few minutes
of your holidays helping a tormented soul, giving a few hints, I would
really thank you!!
I need to move the information from one server to a more powerful server,
where can I find a procedure to do so? Is it possible to install the new
server and just transfer the database from the old server? The new server
could have a different name than the old one.
Actually I dont need to preserve the projects information, but I need to
preserve Templates, Users, Views, Categories, the enterprise resource pool
and the global template. Maybe this way there could be an easier way to do
the tranfer??
By the way, I'm not using Documents and Issues yet , so maybe I dont need to
migrate the Sharepoint DB.
