how to transform a logical XML document into a visio document

I'm trying build a logical diagram of some servers and applications in our
environment, and we want to pull information about their relatinoships stored
a database. This information just has high level info, like which server and
applications talk to eachother. we would like to export the model from the
database in an XML format, and then "import" it into Visio, and have it
create the shapes and connections in the document. What would the best way
to accomplish this?

If you are truly focused on xml, you might check Chris Roth's site
(http://www.visguy.com/) he did some work for the last visio conference on
visio and xml.
