how to turn Japanese Microsoft Office into English?

I have a Japanese version of Microsoft Office Professional 2003(which means
everything's in Japanese).
I'm now a student in the US and shares my computer with my American roommate
since she doesn't have one.
She mainly uses Microsoft Office so is there a way that I can it into
english version.

My understanding is that the "way" is to buy a US English version. If
you are a student, check out the local student bookstore for student
licenses.
