How to turn off calendar reminder when scheduling an appt for another user.

I'd like to know how to turn off the reminder feature for
the user I'm sending the email to schedule an appointment.

Hi DJ!

While you are composing the appointment, uncheck the reminder feature in the
message window. After you send your appointment, you can reopen your listing
on your calendar and recheck it for yourself.
