How to turn off drop boxes in Access datasheet field names?

Access_fan_for_many_years

Access 2007 datasheets have field names with drop boxes for filtering. How to
turn off the drop boxes? They use valuable screen real-estate. I already
sacrificed some of that to get the ribbon...
