How to turn off shadow as default for drawing objs: text box/shape

P

Phil_Deering

In the template I'm using, drawing objects default to having a shadow on the
line.
I know how to use Format, Autoshape, Colors and Lines, Default for New
Objects, but the shadow setting is not in this dialog box.
Also, the text in text boxes defaults to shadow as well. I want to turn
this off too.

Anyone know how to do this?

Draw an autoshape onto the slide.
Then under the Drawing toolbar located at the bottom, click on the shadow
button and select no shadow.
Now right click on the autoshape, select Set Autoshape Defaults.

Tohlz's method should work fine with autoshapes. If text is also shadowed in
text boxes you may need to select some text and in format text make sure
shadow is off and selext default for new objects..
