How to turn URLs and links blue in Word

A

Alan

Folks

I've just installed Office 2007 Enterprise and when I type URLs or email
addresses etc. they do not turn into a link and go blue as they used to in
Office 97.

Is there something I've failed to do here.

Appreciate advice.

In Word 2007, go to Office button > Word Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect
Options > AutoFormat As You Type and check "Internet and network paths with
hyperlinks".

If the same situation occurs in Outlook messages, you'll have to repeat the
setting in the Editor Options dialog (start a new message to get to the Office
button there).
