Thanks garfield & Bob but when i use CP to remove the program a window comes
up saying this patch could not be opened. verify that the patch exists and
that you can open it or contact application vendor that this is a valid
windows installer patch package. The same thing when I try an email
attachment.

If I am reading you between the lines correctly, you are
stuck with Outlook as your email program and you would like
to use Outlook Express. If so, start Internet Explorer and
click Tools, Internet Options and then Programs. Under
email and newsgroups dropdowns click the box and select
Outlook Express for each. Click on OK and see if this fixes
your problem. Of course you will have to make sure that
your setup for the email is correct in Outlook Express
Accounts before you can receive or send email.

What if the trial version doesn't appear in the a&r prog list--only the
installed version--but the trial launches every time you try to open Office?
