How to uninstall office 97 program

I cannot uninstall Office 97 from an old Dell computer.
This program is not needed and is taking most of the hard
drive. I have borrowed 97 cd's but the program will
still not uninstall. Any advise will be greatly
appreciated.

Delete all the folders then go through the registry deleting all reference
to it
