how to unlock an office program

My office programs have locked. It seems the same as when the program needs
activated after installing or when your trial period is up.
I however am not ina trial period and have had it installed for nearly a
year.
Also when i selext activate program, not a single message appears asking for
a key or the wizard, just nothing.
I am finding this very frustrating, please help someone
