Assuming that your team members have submitted task updates to you, simply
click the "Task Updates" link in the Quick Launch menu and approve task
progress. Hope this helps.

Thanks for reply.

It seems I have not explained properly. Actually My PM wants to update task
progress i.e. in percentage (%) or in Hours himself.

he published a project on project server with assigned task and from PWA he
want to update task progress.

We are using Project 2007 using MOSS 2007.

The only way for the PM to manually update the status of a project is to
open it in Project Professional 2007 and then enter progress information,
such as an Actual Start date, % Complete, Actual Work, etc. I'm not sure
why the PM is resisting doing so. He has Project Professional 2007, right?
