how to use an existing label template - merge process

I have an existing label tamplate that I want to use again. How do I use
this tamplate to merge a document. I have never used an existing template
before to merge for labels.

A label template is in essence a table. To use it as a merge document, you
simply tell Word to use the current document as a label format - the rest is
