How to use hyphens as text (not in a formula)

Hi,

I need to use hyphens in cells in a spreadsheet without Excel reading them as requiring a mathematical formula. How would I do this?

Daisy:

You need to treat it as text. Specifically, if its at the beginning of the cell, use a '- instead of just -. If you have already written text and have a hypen included, it shouldn't read as a formula.
