How to use resource customized fields in task customized fields

I need to use a resource customized field in a formula of
a task customized field. Does anyone knows how to do this?

Example: Machine A can dig at a rate of 8 cu.ft/hr, if the
field has 24cu.ft then the duration of the task is 3hrs.
resource customized field: 'Dig rate'
Task customized field1: 'Total Volume'
Task customized field 2: 'Estimated duration'= 'total
volume'/'dig rate'
